| NACLA DIGITAL ARCHIVEABOUT NACLA REPORT ON THE AMERICASThe bimonthly NACLA Report on the Americas provides policymakers, analysts, academics, organizers, journalists and religious and community groups with information on major trends in Latin America and its relations with the United States. The NACLA Report has been ahead of the curve on Latin American and Caribbean affairs since it was first published in 1967. NACLA's founders called for the development of a magazine that would "encourage in-depth research and journalism conducive to analysis and action." Nearly 40 years later, our mission remains the same. Going beyond the coverage associated with the commercial media, each issue offers thoughtful, thorough and critical coverage on regional affairs. Written by journalists, activists and academics, the magazine features news articles, investigative reporting, essays, comprehensive analysis and our acclaimed thematic Report section. According to noted author Rubén Martínez, "NACLA has always made sense of the senseless, tried to right wrongs, cast light on the shadows. It is a priceless bridge across the borders that continue to separate the people of the Americas." To purchase hard copies of any backissue, please go to the NACLA website home page. |
